Here's an interesting fact. The nation with the most diverse gene pool (amongst a homogenous culture) are the Scots. Obviously over the millenia many tribes got as far as the Northern Scottish coastline and could go no further. Bizarrely many have Aboriginal genes, exploding the myth that the Aborigines were locked into Australia.
