Wow, bravo Zimbabwe!

Muzarabani is now a legend by Zimbabwe standards! Good bowler!

Good to see Bennett up top with BC. Bennett sure looks like the deal. He will be tested this coming season and I hope will rise to the occassion.

I hope Nyauchi can find some consistency and lock down that spot. There is a lot of competition for it with Matigimu, Evans etc. waiting in the wings.

Overall everybody played well today. Hope we get some good partnerships going tomorrow. This opening stand has already laid a great platform for us to go big. Surely we should be looking to bat once here. Somebody has to get a daddy hundred here.

All the guys who spent 20 bucks on Wellington are laughing now hey
Can't catch a break can he. Really stepped up today and all the other bowlers as well with contributions. Nyauchi should just be first pick in all the tests we play really. But we all know our selectors they will probably drop him in the next game.

Bennett should now be on a grade A++ contract but now. What a find he has been to us.

Nyauchi ain’t quick and might leak some runs here and there but gee they played it missed so many of his balls

The quota myth will remain a mystery all of 5 white boys in the team. Good team make up all round. The keeping spot I thought Tsiga was ahead alas Mavayo's keeping must be better.

Nyauchi has never been quick really for a guy his size. Just that probing line and length much like Tawanda Mupariwa. He will be good for the England test.

Nyauchi's lack of pace worries me. He looks like the kind that goes for plenty on unhelpful surfaces.

Richie must have had a cramp, you can't hobble off like that and play within a month unless it's a cramp
Much relief because if he got injured it would be a disaster.

Tsiga is twice the batsman Mayavo is and i don't think Mayavo is that much of a better keeper, if at all, to justify selection.

That might be our best first day in a very long time.
