You've just got to have a seaming all-rounder. Its an absolute must.
I've never understood how Wellie cant get it to turn more. He's got such good control of line and length. He'd be a real handful if he could get it to spin.
Im sure he's tried, but I've never seen him bowl scrambled seam?

Matigimu would do really well on a pitch like this. Clearly Masakadza's selection has nothing to do with talent or skill

Wellie is a good player, bud. More of a white ball bowler though. We've played a couple of games at Queens now where seam has done the trick, so not sure what their thinking was. I'd have definitely started Gimu ahead of Wellie though.

Blessing getting some crazy steep bounce. Almost unplayable.

Absolutely, he's a handful for the best. When the pitch gets flatter he struggles to adjust his length though. Needs to pitch it up a bit more when theres nothing left in the deck.

Even Pollock questioning why there isnt a seaming all-rounder in the side. Tino says nothing

The Sammons brains trust obviously had to shock us with one selection. Needed a 3rd seamer. For someone who was talking about there being a need for 4 seamers at a certain point, he sure does change his mind a lot. Maybe they will prove us wrong.
