This is what happens when you go out with a negative mentality. We lost this game on day 1. It doesn't matter how many games we have this year, no one will really care about us if we keep producing this absolute shit house.

Selectors need to be fired and we need a massive shift in mentality within the team and the set up.
What did you feel about day one lost it apart from some of those decisions?

Enormous misjudgement of conditions and pitch on the first day, absolutely dreadfully so. Salmon and his team must take the blame for that. It’s not the first time they’ve done it, either. How can you get it so wrong?
I don’t even think the tusker spinners got many this Logan cup.

I would keep Wellington for the next and bring in another pace bowler. Almost be tempted to bring 4 pace bowlers
This.

Vinny did ok, but he has to make way for a seamer.

Broken record at this stage but we are so f*cked when Erv and Willo retire.

They are the only guys who can score runs in our team.

Something Wes cant do as a pure batsman
Tsiga out for Madande
Wes out for Mutigmu or Brad Evans

Hope Bennett can come back next Test, he's our only hope apart from Willo and Ervine with the bat

Bowlers were let down by shoddy umpiring or else the game could've been completely different. Against all those decisions we still picked up 19 wickets against WTC champions, it's not great but it could've gone a lot lot worse.

Well guys what can I say? This is a weak South African team, basically an 'A' team and I expected Zimbabwe to do better.

Fantastic show by Sean Williams... Sure he still got it, old man!

I watched very little, keeping busy and not getting time at all... But going by the scorecard this is a very average performance by Zimbabwe.

I got a clip of Welch's dismissal because he claimed he was not out and would have reviewed it. I went frame by frame. It hit his bottom hand which he'd just taken off the bat. Another great umpiring decision.
His future selection was probably riding on that.
