Madhevere has a really really good chance here to farm some runs. Please don't throw it away, we've waited long enough.

Yeah there will be a lot of changes against NZ. People have been given a long rope here. They can't complain. It's so bad that BT might genuinely have to pad up here. Disappointed in quite a few of them.

While I understand the pain and also all the observations about mismanagement over the years, we need to remember the last time someone broke Lara’s 375 record against us - Hayden’s 380 - we had a bowling line up boasting Streak, Blignaut, Price and Sean Ervine. Things can go horribly wrong on their day even with better teams. Just to keep things in perspective.

This is a good observation, but the main difference is that was a one off. Like you say, every team has a bad day. Zim post those guys doesn't have one offs though. They have regular patches of terrible
You're totally right, and this is why every time a user here jizzes over someone playing well against 'desh,Ireland, Afg or declare someone is world clas because they hit a 50 or took wickets etc I caution over over again that people need to xonsider the opposition. Look at England now South Africa A are doing to us.
