Zimbabwe vs South Africa | 2nd Test | 6-10 July | Bulawayo
Re: Zimbabwe vs South Africa | 2nd Test | 6-10 July | Bulawayo
Fine to call for people's heads but you have to have a suitable alternative. All the fans think is you just go down the Logan cup leader board and pick the next best. It just doesn't work like that. Very few guys can deal with this relentless bowling at this level. Its a different game.
I've always rated the Golden Child. He's a good player. He's been shielded by batting down the order and been less than useful as a spinner. I think he's close to his last strike temporarily. A solid 50 against Southern Rocks and he will be back in the mix. Plus the fat contract check keeps coming. A few guys can slot into the middle order. Its at the top of the order where you really can't hide.
Tsiga being bigged up by Tino- great ability with the bat!
He's got some solid defense for sure and a good head most of the time and has earned his spot. Great ability- no.
Can anyone post a pic of Knackers' Green Mamba bride?
Wonder if the contract includes conjugal visits?
BT is available next game, plus probably Knackers if this is true and Curran and Bennett will be back. I think Welch needed a double hundred there.

Another one gone.

ZC love a band aid solution...
Below is the best band aid solution.
1- Drop all racial quotas
2. Scour the diaspora for people succeeding domestically. Higgins plugs the bowling all rounder hole. The kid with the German sounding name in county, is he doing well? if so, get him. That plugs the keeping role.
3. Recall Ballance and BT.
This buys 2 years to unearth better youth.

We will likely have all of Bennett, Curran and Raza back available for the NZ Tests.

I'm willing to give Madande or even Marumani another chance if he's willing to bat further down the order

"We've had a glimpse of Wellie's ability with the bat."
And of course only capable of nicking an absolute jaffer that comes in and then straightens.
Great 57 previous innings but his next highest score in 14 innings was 17.
16 innings for Ervine to get his first 50.
Welch has had three half centuries in 5 tests.

Dont like this keeper at all, there is no need they have won already and he is trying to be sneaky
The higher you go the cooler it becomes.

Except Welch Jr has better stats and possibly a higher ceiling and has played here, which accounts for a lot if youre white.ZIMDOGGY wrote: ↑Tue Jul 08, 2025 11:28 amZC love a band aid solution...

If youre a Mire you can walk into the side without knowing where Zimbabwe really is.

Bowling is an even bigger issue than batting.
