If I was going to be hyper-critical he went at a run a ball for a long time. He has no confidence in the guys behind him.
Had he gone out on 28 off 28 you'd say he's bottled the innings. In fact he gave an easy chance around about then.
Worked out well.
Word  should have been striking like that sooner, giving musekiwa and munyonga more than a couple of balls to finish with. Might have had 180 on the board. No different to Ervine striking at run a ball then going ballistic after 30 as mentioned in another thread

What utter nonsense from Burl, what on earth was that? No wonder he hasn’t bowled in a while... He doesn’t seem to know if he’s an offie or a leggie

Wes getting it tight from certain quarters. Its unacceptable what he's being subjected to. I've seen plenty good players not being able to find a run up front with good bowling. Happens very often. Now they're likely to panic and drop him and it just worsens the situation. I'd swap him for Munyonga.
Let him finish the series and hope he gets a few.

Some guy at the ground with a mega-phone cussing. I couldn't hear who or what exactly or what was being said. Maybe someone here knows?
Im all for them cussing selections, but absolutely no need to get personal and nasty with players. I'm surprised he wasn't stopped. He will get a call, that i guarantee.
