Where do we see the post game presser?
Heard Digger saying how well Wes played and that we'd misread the conditions and thst we do have the skills.

Was out when the game was happening. Scorecard makes it look like Wez was cooking, pretty much everyone else let him down and raz dawg was playing a test match innings striking at 66

Im assuming by misreading the conditions means not having Welly in the side? It would have been interesting to see how much turn he would have got. I mean they knew we would have to face Ravindra and Santner? We did try and go hard in the powerplay, we just kept missing the ball outright or just couldn't get it away. Turned out they faced similar problems, which meant a powerplay total of mid 40's was a reasonable target. Ngarava and Blessing bowled beautifully up front.

Wes did try and play squarer and even behind, but that's how you have to play these guys if theyre not pitching it up, which they dont. Its tough going down the ground, it's higher risk. If youre down on confidence and not a big hitter, a bit shorter, you're going to default to the squarer game. Its not a bad thing, he just didn't execute particularly well, but he did finally get some time in the middle.

Maphosa tried walking at them...once  That was nasty.

There are not many options left with this squad. Wes has earned at least another 400 games up front, I'm being facetious, but he's going to get a lot more time. He could end up being the most capped T20 player in history.

I know they can see Clive is going to struggle so if we see him up front again we know Salamander is not picking this side. We have to see Dion next (honestly surprised he didn't start today). No coach worth their salt is seeing him as an international front line batter.

If they had more faith in their finishers, theyre lying when they say they do, there would be a case for trying Burl at 3 or 4.
If youre going to throw Madande into the deep end like that, it's not so deep for Burl. He is miles ahead of Madande, which is not a high bar. I have never believed he can play at this level, hes had plenty of opportunities, many more than he deserves with his skillset and has not improved.at all. If you'd given a couple of other guys his chances we'd probably have had another half decent player by now.

Munyonga was disappointing today, he had no plan at all, except to sweep.if a guy pitches it outside off you reverse. If you havent got a reverse youre in trouble.

Bennett was poor today. Those paddle pulls indicate he's a bit scarred from that hit, hard to blame him. Not for the faint hearted to go for a hard pull off your throat at 145.
He just let that guy bowl outswing at him without a plan. They were great deliveries, but he has to get that trigger to off going occasionally and mix it up.
That scoop was a great shot. I think it's a first for him as well
Needs to put that in the locker because when you pull that off a couple of times theyre changing the field and the bowler is changing his length.

As usual that was tough to watch. We'd all rather see guys with a higher ceiling fail 30 times than more of this.

I dont think theyre going to post anyone else speaking?
The green label and fanta means we are going to have to wait for the hangovers to subside.

If Zim fans want to boycott anything it has to be that brass band   Its just awful, plus it will cost what a franchise player can live off for a couple of months.

When those brutal green label and fanta hangovers subside I'm hoping someone will post what Raza had to say.
I think theyre reducing his exposure because people are starting to gun him.

Que- why are you striking at 50% when we're at 6's and we've got finishers, do you not trust them?
Do you have a hand in selections? Not just the playing eleven, but the squad?
Do you think Faraz should be back in the side?
What do you think of this team? -
Bennett
Welch
Knackers
Williams
BT
Raza
Higgins
Burl
Evans
Ngarava
Muzarabani.

Are you happy with Knackers being fast tracked?
Are u happy with BT making a comeback?
Has Cremer thrown his hat into the ring?
Is it true there's an issue between u and Williams?
Are u going to be available for every test?
Why do you bowl before Wes when he has better stats?
Are you going to persevere with Clive at 3?
These are Wes' last dozen scores 0, 13, 8, 7, 4, 4, 21, 11, 1, 0, 1, 36. Whilst we know he has ability, are there any other options?

Actually Faraz is a better pic than some of the guys, its not a bad shout. Faraz is a very decent batsman.
