Do you know if BT is likely to be involved in the test series against NZ, Googly?

Raza hinted in an interview a few weeks ago that BT was likely to be wearing Zim colours very soon.

Not sure I would play him in the tests. He should just focus on white ball cricket with the qualifiers and the 50 over world cup coming up. Is there any point putting his body through tests?

Its just a guess, but I'd say so. He could do a soft entry via NPL and see how he goes, but I suspect the panic button has been pressed. What will be interesting is who is replaced.

Test lineup?

Assuming Curran is still injured? What’s his status?

I’d think-

1. Bennett
2. Welch
3. BT
4. Ervine
5. Williams
6. Raza
7. Burl
8. Tsiga
9. Ngarava
10. Blessing
11. Chivanga

I’ve heard here people say folks are terrified of Chivanga? Any reason why?

The panic button has been well and truly punched and will end the same way as when comrade dyatlov punched the panic button at Chernobyl

Which unfortunate murungu are guys dropping to get BT in the side?

How is Burl not a test shoe in? He’s a much better batter than Wesley, and a better bowler. Gun fielder, too.

The amount of complete passengers we are tallying up in our last few series is impressive.

Its probable that Curran will be back.
Bennett
Curran
?
Williams
Ervine
Raza
?
?
?
Chivanga
Mazarabani

I dont think they will put him at 3, thats a big ask after 4 years, but they might.
We need a third seamer, if not a 4th as well.
You would think Wellie and Wes are close to sitting out.
You'd think Masekesa might start.

My guess is he will play at 5 maybe?
That batting line-up is very Rhodesian, Welch may be the unfortunate casualty again.

He needs NPL. He was a gun batter four years ago on drugs   he might look good in these four hour net sessions he’s been having but the only cricket he’s played in four years is that legends league.

Welch will be the scapegoat I’m afraid. Doubt his fiery personality is appreciated by the egoistic lot at the top. He should be given a good run at white ball, his preferred format in my eyes.
