Why aren’t Takashinga playing any matches at their own ground? What’s up with it?
Wet outfield probably  nah they were having work done on the square at some point I think I saw on the socials. That could have been months ago though to be fair.

Aah ok. Looks decent. Just watched an absolutely superb innings from Ed Byrom. Back in the side and batting beautifully. Proper batsman

Thats some serious work going on there. Hope they put some drainage whilst it's in that state.
They need that sort of work on all our club grounds, but Takaz thankfully keeping the game alive for us thru fund raising and cake sales.

Macheka getting really good bounce and carry but wasting it bowling 6th stump. Then sends one down leg then one onto the pads they can work easily. Frustrating to watch.

Rangers doing it easy in the end.

Good to see Amakhosi up there. We need stronger Bulawayo clubs.

NPL shouldn’t pick national sides but it should mean some of these players get a look at first class etc.

There are only 3 decent clubs in this comp. The standard is abysmal and disheartening.
That Takashinga/Sogo margin would have been way bigger had the umpiring been impartial. There should be a special place in hell for cheating umpires, I'd love to know what they do for a day job, they have to be shop lifters or something similar. They need Knackers and Taylor in that Takaz side for a game against Sogo. Cremer was wicketless against better batsmen, which is alarming.
Not sure why Masakadza is in their side? There must be a younger guy that would have benefitted from that level of opposition....unless Taylor and Cremer have given him an idea to make himself an extra 30k at the WC. If they try and swing that it would be right up there with the Batonka and Metro scam.

ZC are paying for a box ticking exercise to prove cricket is alive and well countrywide and it just isn't. If ZC wasn't paying these clubs to travel and picking up all the other costs these out of town clubs would not could not organize a league. If they can't or won't just leave them be, its a monumental waste of money.
Zimbabweans have a disease in that unless everything is laid on for them they won't lift a finger. It's called entitlement. Most of what we are watching is literally village cricket. This is the best these lesser sides will ever be because there are no good players coming thru. Its just going to get worse.
They're flogging a dead horse and they surely know that? They're not fooling anyone anymore.

Cunningham is obviously a good player and Kian Arnold also looks decent. We've found two more players of the wrong colour. Don't bother trying to get into franchise unless you've got some hard cash.... doesn't always help, ask PJ.

I really don't think Roy Kaia should be bowling at all, whether it's franchise or club. It makes a mockery of it. He literally just throws the ball. If you excuse it and say it's just club cricket it just epitomizes where we are at.
