What a game of cricket. Our boys are definately growing up fast. I must say I was impressed with Taylor as the captain. He seems to be able to rally the troops very well. Jarvis we need more of that at the end of innings. Impressive fast bowling but still plenty of work . I am a happy man.

Havent agreed with all his deciscions but lm very impressed with Taylor and his players actually play for him judging from Taibu's interview at the interval.

It's easy be over critical but after all is said and done, WELL DONE TO THE GUYS. The boys did well, it's fair to say I gave up several times during both innings and they never did. Jarvis got a couple of impressive wickets at the death, so did Vitori and Mpofu - so, as far far as selection is concerned, spot on. I feel maybe a score of 280 would have been within our reach but I can't fault the batting, all things considered. Vusi had a plan, the right attitude but his wicket shook us a bit (we seem to writing Taylor's early falls into the script ). Hami and Taibu consolidated brilliantly - twice now has Taibu been brilliant when we need him. I just want him to focus even when we are cruising. And the middle order passed, not spectacularly but they did what needed doing. Taibu, Ervine and Chigs. This might just be my favourite ODI line up (Price, Cremer certainly feature extensively, Meth and Raza will be the experiments); there's a bit of steel in there - I like it.

agreed with 100percent could not change a thing you said. maybe give raza a crack in the last 2 odis or 1? surely give ervine a hit up the order ? bowl jarvis and vitori in difficult situations ? nows the time to experiment and develope the little things. feel sorry for taylor the guys working so hard but cannot make a run, he will bounce back to great of a player. god im happy great game lads real character builder today

taibu was gifted about 3-4 lives in that knock...not exactly brilliant. a poor team like bangladesh might miss the chances - our fielding has been piss poor all series - but a better team would not have let him get past 20.

Now thats js sour grapes from you mate i think! Js like saying if Eoin Morgan was playing against a better team he would not have gotten his century against India. Cricket doesnt work like that, if the gods of luck are with you on the day, whether against Bang, Aus,SA, Pak you thank them and make the most of it. Who knows, if he had been facing better bowling he would not have given those chances in the first place, and maybe got a century? Lets not live in ''what if?'' land.
Bangladesh has been outplayed, FYI i hear there is going to be an enquiry into the ''poor perfomance'' , what they must accept is Zim is better team now and do what they can to emulate it, not over-rate themselves (like Ireland). A little humility goes a long way mate

To be fair, Kriterion accepted that his side has been poor, so there's no point in accusing him of overating his team (unless you meant the BD cricketers are the ones who overate themselves, in which case I take your point). The Banglas have been poor, there are issues in that camp I can't put my finger on it. Having said that, they also underestimated Zim, a lot actually. We've been quite poor, even recently and they have steamrolled us 4-1 regularly. But we have determination and belief now - and I'd dearly like to see it against Pakistan as well.

This is not the time to experiment. We want our fringe players to work as hard as they can before being accepted into the hallowed XI. We also want to gun for 5-0 and ram our superiority down the Bangladeshis throats.
