Lots of kids playing. Kamwemba, Simbi, Chirwa, Changa, Nzvenga, Chimusoro and Taruvinga all get a game.
Pretty weak lineups overall though.

Thank you!secretzimbo wrote: ↑Mon Oct 27, 2025 7:49 amHe was more of a batter, was very promising as a teenager, went to school in SA and disappeared and didn’t play U19’s.
Think his bowling was seam rather than spin but not 100%.

Hope to see some overseas players arrive next week. Not sure any of the names mentioned are that talented from what I have seen. Maybe Taruvinga being the best of an average crop.secretzimbo wrote: ↑Sun Oct 26, 2025 8:34 amLots of kids playing. Kamwemba, Simbi, Chirwa, Changa, Nzvenga, Chimusoro and Taruvinga all get a game.

Kamwenba has been giving lots of opportunities but has not looked like he is going to be any but half decent.

Went to Scarborough College in Yorkshire. Played the 2025 season in a very strong club league in NE England, but only averaged about 15, and didn't bowl.secretzimbo wrote: ↑Mon Oct 27, 2025 7:49 amHe was more of a batter, was very promising as a teenager, went to school in SA and disappeared and didn’t play U19’s.

Simbi took two big wickets yesterday Kaitano & Antum Naqvi - not bad for your first game.zimfan1 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 27, 2025 8:54 am

Chirwa is going to be good, I can tell.
Changa, Nzvenga & Chimusoro too early to tell.

Anyone know where Mavuta is this season, some talk of him playing in Australia this winter? Not a bad idea to be fair, still only 28 and has plenty of time.
Re: Logan Cup Round 1: 26th-29th October
I heard that as well (NZ, rather than Aus though?).
Not good at all for the FC game, if 28 year olds are being lost.
Likewise, Milton Shumba doesn't seem to be around again. Unsurprisingly, he'd been good in the NPL, so I was hoping he'd be back around.

To be fair, he is not getting in the national side at the moment with Cremer coming back. So a year in a different country may be the best thing for his development
