With rain affected games every game is critical. They just ended any shot Mountaineers' had at the Pro 50. That was a crucial game. Why on earth would they do that??? Nothing left to play for in that comp except personal stats.
Then made those guys run on the field at lunch, that's u13 stuff. Any problems are now deep resentments. If things are not well in that squad that's definitely not how to fix it. From being the team to beat to a bottom of the table team. You have to hand it to them, they've got that part nailed down. Its in the other direction that is the problem.

Yeah, it makes no sense. I get that there are genuinely promising cricketers who need game time, like Patel, M.Frost and Kamuriwu - but leaving out the guy who bats 3 in the Test team is self sabotage.

T20 comp starting on Monday. 4 rounds before Xmas and 4 rounds after.

Tbf... this is right time in the season to do it.

But this level of notice and shifting the fixtures around is pathetically unprofessional.
