A very very narrow escape for Pakistan against Netherlands in the first game of the World Cup.

... And now India under the Gun against USA at 77/6.

Netherlands almost winning against Pakistan and USA challenging India.

Where does this leave Zimbabwe? If they don't complete well then I fear they will fall behind many teams in the rankings. Let's see.

Netherlands ran them close, but for that 19th over.
A USA upset against India would be epic.

Nepal almost beat England there. Hairline escape for England as the managed to win by just 4 runs.

Unbelievable last over by Sam Curran under tremendous pressure.

Need to work on the old tape ball game   they should hold batting contests on the streets of Rome to try and unearth some batting talent.

I get annoyed with the Indian broadcaster constantly putting up the "300 alert" whenever a minnow is playing. It is disrespectful. We have all seen plenty of upsets in this format.

I think against SL and Aus Cremer has to come in for Welly.
Welly is a decent run container, but if cremer comes off, he could rip through a good lineup.
Risk/reward.
We are nowhere near Aus in quality so may as well shoot for the wickets.

IF thurs and Friday are rainouts, things will be interesting as that robs SL of an easy Oman win and Australia of an easy win against us. Meaning we might progress on the back of an irish victory.
