Or even Sl. They picked up an injury tonight and they might relax.
Also we generally put up a fight against them.

What is now guaranteed is that Zimbabwe will go into Group 1 in the Super Eight stage should they qualify. They will be grouped with India, South Africa, and West Indies. I think this is the tougher prospect as the Sri Lankan pitches suit us better and NZ and England don't seem quite as daunting.

Yikes lets worry about winning one of the next two games, Ireland have a good T20 record against us.eugene wrote: ↑Mon Feb 16, 2026 4:58 pmWhat is now guaranteed is that Zimbabwe will go into Group 1 in the Super Eight stage should they qualify. Nissanka's played a gem to get us in with a very very real shout. One win against IRE and SL, I'm nervous but I think the boys will pull through. No matter how many times they've broken my heart I keep coming back for more
Re: ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 discussion
Raz can claim he feels unsafe in India due to his Pakistani heritage and get the groups swapped
Re: ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 discussion
It’s gonna be a nervy game for us v Ire. I’m very dubious
If we get Nissanka out early against Sri, we win. It’s that simple every time. He’s such a gun and I’ve said he’s by far their best player for a year now.
