Re: T20 World Cup Match 3 - Zimbabwe vs Ireland (17th February)
I dislike Ireland so much starting from that disastrous 2007 World Cup match. They are so arrogant when it comes to games against Zimbabwe (and sadly they usually emerge triumphant when it matters).
I don't care if this gets rained out (1 point works well for Zim), but it would be disgusting if Ireland ends up beating us in a Mickey Mouse 5-over-a-side match.

Would be great to go into Thursdays game against Sri Lanka with the knowledge that we're through to the super 8 stage, but selfishly I wanted to watch us pump the Irish

Today is a must-win game for Ireland (Australia also need an Ireland win to stay alive). If Zim win or it's a No Result then the two to qualify will be SL/Zim.

Agree with this so much. Would be much worse to lose in a shoot out than a full game. At this point, you probably want rain to continue and wash out the game.brmtaylor.com admin wrote: ↑Tue Feb 17, 2026 9:39 amI dislike Ireland so much starting from that disastrous 2007 World Cup match. Does that mean every bowler gets 2 each?

Covers off, then on again...we're starting to lose overs.
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).
