Defs has that ability, a bit like Jongwe but Evan’s is just a bit better.
He is much better than Luke Jongwe. Brad's a real athlete and a consumate professional who really does work hard on his bowling and batting. In fact, his batting is very underrated

Don't think I've ever seen Maru play a cover drive. Properly grips that bat with a strong bottom hand doesn't he

A bit was probably the wrong wording. He hasn’t made a big international score yet but at-least I feel confident when he bats.

Bennett is really struggling here. Moving all over the crease and not timing it at all. The Sri Lankan bowlers, to their credit, have really mixed up their line, length and pace to him though, so it hasn't been easy.

A big over is needed here though. The fact we've only managed one six in the tournament is actually quite concerning

This is a massive part of the game now. Maru against the spin of Theekshana. He's started well with that reverse sweep but needs to be selective.
He's probably the best T20 spinner in the world at the moment

He's playing that shot so well! This has BT written all over it, in terms of a bit of coaching behind the scenes. Plays it very very well. Just has to be careful playing that shot against this guy. He's got such a fantastic Carron ball

I'm a sea of nerves watching Maru here. He's not being very selective with that shot.
