What a great win! Sometimes innings like that are the making of a player, let's hope this is the case for Malcolm Waller.

he showed where his heart is , he did the mature thing dabing for a single and sacrificed his hundread. i said we would win today but for us to chase that down is simply amazing , see what we are capable of. we all say it but for us to do it look at the views in the changerooms! well done taylor for the series lead by the front and the emergence and maturity of waller could be a huge find.brmtaylor.com admin wrote:Wonderful chase! That is such a good win.
Such a vital win.
This really shows we can chase it down.

It was a Bevan-like performance from Waller today

Yeah, I hope so. As I said a while ago it's been difficult to assess Waller up until now because he's always had to come in at the tail end of an innings and swing; he's never had the chance to build a score. Well, he did today... I've only seen the last 45 minutes or so but he looked in great touch. The Saint wrote:What a great win! Both Mutizwa and Waller have had good series; Waller in particular. It's good that there is a bit of depth coming through with these guys and obviously Craig Ervine on the sidelines.

for me the best ever ODI innings from an Zimbabwe player, scored quickly and prove that he could cope with the pressure whilst others around him fell

1 wicket and 1 ball in hand. Guess you have to say we coasted in the end.
