Ugh, I reckon that was might have been going down leg. The only reason that was given out was because it was the same umpire who gave that shocking decision before lunch :x

25 to avoid the follow on... this has become ugly very fast. Zimbabwe's final hope rests in this partnership; while I do have faith in the lower order to scramble a few runs together if Zimbabwe are going to get anywhere near 350 or so the bulk of it will have to come from these guys.

A Test century on debut from one of these guys would help the cause :)

Time is also an issue. If Zimbabwe are bundled out without batting for at least another 60 overs I don't think we'll have the strength in batting to survive on days four and five against Vettori.

First Hami got out by bogging himself down this morning when he looked good yesterday, then Vusi lost concentration to a part-timer, Taylor had to pay for closer calls to himself and Vusi which were turned down earlier, now Taibu gives it away! At least the NZers gave their wickets away after maximising on the scoreboard. We really could use more experience in the middle order to take pressure away from our top four! They are simply under too much pressure when wickets start to fall, because they know so much depends on them. Let's be honest, even you guys feel a hint that all is lost when even if we were 4 down with Tino(assuming he was middle order), Waller & Chakabva still to come! Even during the NZ innings I feel we could've pegged them back another 50-80 runs on their total if we had more experience operating!

The repair men of the middle order come in to do their job .This pair of Chakabva and Waller are new to this job . Hope they earn their reward , and Chakabva has to be special because he nicked Foster's spot .hammy & Taibu were supposed to be responsible ........
