Waller surely can't continue taking the single now. He needs to have a swing, at the very least...

There we go :4:

Waller should be taught to Shepherd the tail . You cant take singles and let your sheep be devoured by the Wolf vettori who will gobble the sheepish tail . This is the difference of experience and inexperience. But anyway well played though Waller you were doing a repair job on a top order mess up .
Cheap wickets
1.Hammy
2.Vusi
3.Taibu
4.Chakabva

A brain fade in that over, but a couple of good shots

Yeah. There is no better learning experience for Waller though; I doubt he will be so reluctant to farm the strike in future Test matches! The coaches will make sure of that after the close of this innings I'm sure.

Now that Ncube has survived an over from Danny I suppose Bobby will be back to 11 for the second innings (if need be).

Was interesting Waller and Jarvis batting together being second generation Zim internationals...
1. Mawoyo 2. Duffin 3. Sibanda 4. Taylor 5. Masakadza 6. Williams 7. Chakabva 8. Creamer 9. Jarvis 10. Rainsford 11. Mpofu

Hindsight being 20 20 vision Chigs as our third quick may have shortened the tail...but good effort all the same. Sibanda missing out on a deserved ton, Waller proving hhm wrong, as did Chakabva before the needless runout... we have made drawing all the more difficult but good effort all the same...

313, hhhmmm. Well, a dissapointment on this wicket, I think. considering where things were at, we should probably have manged another 50.

Still, we managed to bat a long time and had wsome decent performances. The very long tail is hurting us. I know we are supposed to pick the best 4 bowlers regardless of their batting, but these days the last 4 are expected to contibute, and our guys got 9 between them. The top 7 have done ok, with a little tail end support we would be at 350.

I think Meth needs to be picked for NZ, not Ncube.
