Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Photo Quiz
Far fetched and pretty obscure fact (and probably not what you've been looking for
): They have both opened the batting in FC cricket at QSC. Jennings did so in a Currie Cup match in 1979 for Transvaal vs Zim/Rhodesia (http://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Score ... 39742.html). Hammie probably on a few more occasions (stopped looking after the first one I found)
In fact Jennings got his highest FC score against Rhodesia B (http://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Score ... 37608.html), a Team that included Heath Streak's father as well as Craig and Sean Ervine's dad. But no other similarities there, I'm afraid.

That is far fetched, but quite an impressive link you have unearthed. Yes, not what I was looking for, but a similarity nonetheless: opening the batting in an FC game at QSC. So, awarding the point there.foreignfield wrote:Far fetched and pretty obscure fact (and probably not what you've been looking for ): They have both opened the batting in FC cricket at QSC. What I was looking for as a link was: "Easterns"
Hamilton played for the erstwhile "Easterns" in Zim FC structure, whereas Jennings coached the "Easterns" of the SA FC structure. Quite a tough one for the 200th question...

Thanks Crimson!
It's been great fun digging up the records, but the Easterns connection eluded me.

201. How about that for an athletic save? Can you identify this man, who might come back into reckoning soon in the domestic circles?
