Excellent game for Shingi, and probably through that, has contributed to Meth's bad luck further.

Congratulations to Elton Chigumbura for becoming the 2nd cricketer to achieve the 2000 run/100 wicket double in the Logan Cup(since first class status). The first was Keith Dabengwa.
Gary Brent had over 1600 runs & 133 wickets before he retired so it may be safe to say he was probably going to be the first. But not to be.

I always like your Logan Cup records, as I don't think these are very readily available... Any chance you could upload the info you have somewhere?cricket_22001 wrote:Congratulations to Elton Chigumbura for becoming the 2nd cricketer to achieve the 2000 run/100 wicket double in the Logan Cup(since first class status). All I have done is created my own lists of most runs & most wickets, each with averages. I am indebted to the cricinfo & cricketarchive websites for info. But I will say that neither has posted these lists (why? even a dufus like me did it). I am pretty basic in my computing skills and I was going to update the lists at the end of the season.

They don't do it because it costs labour and the demand is not high enough for those pages.

I almost forgot to congratulate Ham Masakadza, who, despite his ordinary form, is the first player to record 4000 runs in Logan Cup.
