Well, we were all moaning about Ncube not taking bags fulls of wickets in the Logan Cup, but now the Rocks have been oh so obliging: 7-35 ... I like Njabulo's attitude, even if the test against NZ came too soon for him.

Tuskers win by 10 wickets, inside 2 days. Something really needs to be done about Rocks...

They have been pretty pitiful this year. To be fair, they have had some injuries. Taibu, Vermeulen, Panyangara, Muzarabani and Vitori have all missed a number of games. But still... To be honest, they are the franchise in most need of some overseas players. Two more foreigners made debuts in this round, Mike Thornley and Richard Jones. Why couldn't they have gone to the Rocks?!

Almost unbelievably, they are actually the holders of the 50 over title. Lost a lot of players since then, including some like Ervine and Raza who they helped get their first class careers off the ground.

I actually think he did ok without being spectacular vs the Kiwis, certainly didn't embarrass himself, it's just that people didn't expect him to make the team, and were bitter, hence the only success they would accept was a five-fer which was unfair. For me he is definitely one for the future him Jarvis and Vitori and Chatara and Muzhange in five years time will be a good talent pool (25-27), mind you Meth and Querl will only be 28 then, with Mpofu, Shingi, Rainsford in their early 30s....good times ahead if our admin doesn't let us down.
1. Mawoyo 2. Duffin 3. Sibanda 4. Taylor 5. Masakadza 6. Williams 7. Chakabva 8. Creamer 9. Jarvis 10. Rainsford 11. Mpofu

i.e. Zim was pushed/jumped out of Tests, so maybe they should follow suit! :)

Add a sixth team I say!

A sixth team would help Rocks - we'd have someone as bad as us, but it wouldn't help the Logan Cup.

if we add an academy XI it means an increase in costs for all franchises and the academy .
ZC is broke .
Let them find suitable management at Rocks .........
