Apparently NZ have never won a test at Napier - let's keep it that way.

Vitori, Jarvis, Shingi Cremer, Chigumbura
The attack is too raw for my liking, I think we need Chigumbura the bowler to stand up and be counted. McCullum and anyone may just hurt us if we dont apply pressure consistently.
The team to win the toss is likely field and try to use the green surface and the morning dew to get some early wickets. I hope we bat second so that NZ can guide us on roughly how many runs there are in the wicket because we usualy suck at that.
Mawoyo, Hamilton, Chakabva/Mutizwa , Taylor, Taibu, Waller, Chigumbura
If our top order give us a good start then thats a plus. Its less likely to click if we bat first because the swing unless 'Tino Dravids' shows up. I think our middle order is key to getting a good score. Its nice to have Cremer the batsmen because he can stick around a bit. Who is the better batsmen between Cremer and Price i wonder?

38.3 Bracewell to Chakabva, 2 runs,
leg side, touch short, worked off
the legs forward of square for a
workman like 50

We are now officially Price less and Meth less . The control variation has been lost . Big prayers that Chigs take that role and plays it well .

Taylor's comment just answered my question. He said that having Price in at 8 left the batting a little thin, but Cremer would bring some balance.

Starting XI, according to Cricinfo's Firdose Moonda on Twitter:
Mawoyo, H Masakadza, Mutizwa, Taylor, Taibu, Chakabva, Waller, Cremer, S Masakadza, Jarvis, Vitori.
Price injured, Chigs dropped in favour of Waller, who "deserves his chance".

...intriguing. What's the odds on Hami being our leading wicket taker in one of the innings?!
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).
