I'm not batting coach, but it's obvious to me that Grant Flower needs to get these guys to play STRAIGHT! Playing across the line to middle stump deliveries

Matsi is rubbish, he has always been

38.3 Bracewell to Chakabva, 2 runs,
leg side, touch short, worked off
the legs forward of square for a
workman like 50
CHAKS - The stone that the builders rejected

Well I'm no bowling coach, but my dad is a level 3 coach and he's been my mentor if you like growing up, and he always said to me if the actions right, this pace will come. And he was right in my opinion (not meaning to blow my own trumpet). However with Meth, I don't think he has an action that's going to let him bowl much quicker. But he can change his action slightly as he has a very nice approach and a nice side on action, but he doesn't push his shoulder through the crease. Just my opinion nyway
Re: [Match Thread] New Zealand v Zimbabwe: 1st ODI
Thank goodness Hammie got out, now the real batsmen can start chasing down the total.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes
