This is humiliating. The only saving grace is that one of the openers is set and still at the crease, and that Williams is there too so when they want to they can up the run rate. Also, Chigumbura and Price are still to come in the slogging department.

But still; 2/139 after 33 overs... not good enough. We'd need to strike at nearly 10 an over to reach 300 and nearly 7 an over to reach 250.

When we have this many wickets in hand you'd think the run rate would be a little higher than 4.24. Did Kevin Curran come back?

id rather have kevin curren that any of the current ones at leas he know about cricket

Looks as though Sibanda has just woken up though.

If you can't get 4's and 6's away in limited overs then you score singles, anything to keep the scoreboard ticking over, it looks as though both batsmen have decided to drop anchor to let the other one throw the bat, maybe they should have a quick chat to decide who does what.

I like the make up of the Zim side, it's changed since i looked at it a few minutes ago !, if the one that cricinfo are showing is correct then we have a very odd bowling side, Rainsford and Chigumbura to open followed by Masakadza, Price, Utseya, Cremer, Dabengwa, Matsikenyeri and Williams.

Yeah, I'd prefer Curran as well. It was a joke because when Curran was coach Zimbabwe were always looking to bat out the innings with a low run rate rather than push for a win.

75 not out the moment, has to be out there at the end. We should still be aiming for at least 250, anything less is an embarrassment. We need to beat Kenya by at least 100 runs, so really whatever score we make we have to defend that minus one hundred. So at the moment we are defending 64

Vey slow run rate. Maybe Chigumbura will also start opening up as he nor,ally does and we can start getting to 260 or something.

It looks as though the cricinfo scoreboard has given up through boredom, 4 runs from the last 18 balls with Sibanda scoring 2 singles from the last 13 balls that he has faced, either the Kenyan bowling is damned good or the batsmen have completely lost the plot.

I know it's not directly to do with cricket but i understand from the radio that Mugabe and Mr Tsvangirai have 'agreed to form a unity Government next month', i certainly hope it's true.

When Chigumbura is on song he is so dangerous. 25 from 16 balls... still 8 more overs, maybe he will get a century seeing Sibanda and Masakadza couldn't (but should've!).
