terrible news guys firstly i can confirm to you all the sean williams is injured (sprained ankle) and will definitely not play tomorrow
i can also tell you that from very very close sources to the player that he is considering leaving Zimbabwe once again when he gets back or if he goes back to zimbabwe at all
i think we should cut ties with him as he keeps on mucking us around i know the report said that he is committed to Zimbabwe but i can assure you that this is not true, he does not know what his future is but from what i hear it is not with Zimbabwe
i am afraid we need to plan for the future without him
SEAN WILLIAMS CONSIDERING FUTURE AND OUT OF TOMMOROWS GAME

If this is true then he should just go. He cant swan off whenever he feels that it is neccesary,

I'd agree - if he can't make up his mind, then we're better off without him. All the uncertainty can't be good for the rest of the team.
Re: SEAN WILLIAMS CONSIDERING FUTURE AND OUT OF TOMMOROWS GAME
my thoughts as well if he decides to go again he should go for good
i feel realy let down by him and to be honest even if he decides to stay how long will it be for? lets just pray the likes of nathen waller, dylan higgins and pj moor stick around

I like Sean and everything but the guy is just pissing me off the way he keeps changing his mind.
I think that Sean Williams thinks that he is bigger than the Zimbabwe team.
Why would he rather play for Todmordon in the Lancashire league than International Cricket for? I play for Barnoldswick CC (my home town team) in the lancashire league and we have a population of about 9,000 and we always thrash Todmordon CC when we play them. They are a terrible team. If he does decide to play for Todmordon im going to give him a bouncer right in the teeth next time we play!

Surprise, surprise...
No loyalty. Whether or not it's the player's fault is hard for us to say, but ZC don't seem to be messing the guys around at the moment. Plenty of fixtures, and limited complaints about pay, board etc... Either way, very frustrating. It's impossible to build a team, if the second a youngster establishes themselves in the team, they retire... Ireland, Taylor, Williams, Higgins, millions of others. Nothing to do with the original rebellion, just a complete lack of loyalty towards the national team...

Can it be any great surprise that Zim seem somewhat reluctant to give white players their fair crack of the whip, when they ALL seem likely to bugger off at any given moment. I think the only exception is Price, and that may be due to his age. Seriously, if Cremer or Waller get a regular slot in the team, is it likely that they will stick around for the next decade and a half?? Or just use the exposure to get a club contract somewhere in a year or so?? Very sad, but it seems to be true...
Re: SEAN WILLIAMS CONSIDERING FUTURE AND OUT OF TOMMOROWS GAME
from what i know about creamer i would expect him to stay around for a while as i know he loves zimbabwe
i dont know anything about waller so not sure in his case

Re: SEAN WILLIAMS CONSIDERING FUTURE AND OUT OF TOMMOROWS GAME
Certainly a bad news!It will be a blow to Zimbabwe's cricket if he quits Zimbabwe once again...
It's true that when a youngster starts to establish himself permanently in the Zimbabwean national side,he used to quit Zimbabwe sooner or later.
I dont understand why the players of Zimbabwe is keen to play in the club cricket in England rather than playing for Zimbabwe in the national cricket. It will for money I suppose! But if you perform consistently in the international level, you will get enough money also adding awards, prizemoneys etc.International cricket is the best stage for the players to show their talents or what he can do.Here he can achieve honour, respect, people's love and if he becomes a great player he will be remembered forever. But by playing in the club cricket one player will be lost in the huge hole of time which has gone away.Players should treat club cricket as a development step of their effeciancy but not make it a profession.
A large amount of players in the foreign countries like England,Australia,South Africa notable opting to get a place in the national side. But they often get the chance to proove themselves. They have to work hard in the domestic circuit to make their way in the national side.Years gone by but they seemed to struggle to attain their destiny.I dont really know why the Zimbabwean players choose playing club cricket instead of having a permanent place in the national side and a bright future ahead of them.....
I think,Sean Williams should think about it.But if he wants to leave in the future,I also think it will be good for him to leave right now.Replacement will come and it will be just a matter of time to fill his position.Time will not wait for him,it will go by as usual. But if Williams quits,it will be bad for him as he infact quit a career which had a possibility of having a bright future....
