You're an honoured man.
What email address did you use (and if you're not happy posting here, feel free to PM me...)? I've sent quite a few emails to Banda over the years, using the email address given for him in the ICC's media pack, and not once have I had a reply...

Re: Zim fixture list
Nice work dylan
It makes sense to send the full strength team to India. While there would have been benefits in giving the up and coming players access to the academy facilities, the national team players could probably utilise such facilities really well too. And it gives us a better chance of winning, acts as a warm up ahead of the Sri Lanka tour, etc.
The quadrillion Zim dollar question; will Mark Vermeulen play in the Zimbabwe A side? Presumably the Namibia matches will also be played at home, so it might be a perfect opportunity to ease him back into the team.

Wow, what a surprise that they have all of a sudden updated the article. What a coincidenceThe games, which are likely to all be played in Harare, will take place between March 18 and 26 and are all likely to be against a Zimbabwe A side.

Zimbabwe 'A' will tour Namibia for 3 'A' ODIs and possibly a Twenty20, between 28 February and 4 March. Namibia whitewashed Zim 'A' last time they met, in 2005.

Re: Zim fixture list
The domestic fixture looks good for Zimbabweas cricket prospective. But seeing the future tour programme of Zimbabwe it seems that Zimbabwe has got less international cricket this year after the cancellion of New Zealand,England and India. After Sri Lankan ODI series there is only:
2009
August Bangladesh (Home) - 2 Tests, 3 ODIs
October Bangladesh (Away) - 3 Tests, 5 ODIs
The international cricket needs to be extended.I tried to manage some way of playing international cricket for Zimbabwe.ZC should try to set up some international cricket for Zimbabwe.
I have discounted Australia,New Zealand,England and Bangladesh(there is already match against Ban).
The remaining teams schedule starting from May.The players will play Logan Cup from March to early May I reckon.

Pakistan-busy in (June+July+Nov+Dec)
Sri Lanka- busy in (May+June+July+Nov+Dec)
India-busy in (May+June+Nov+Dec)
South Africa-busy in (May+June+Nov+Dec)
West Indies-busy in (June+Dec).
Zimbabwe should try to play agaisnt:
LATE MAY: (After the Logan Cup) Against Pakistan.
West Indies also has got a gap in May.But I think they will demand rest after the series against England and Bangladesh.
JUNE: I think, players will play club season in England.Twenty-20 World Cup cricket will also run in June in England. So,there is less chance for Zimbabwe to play international cricket.Better to allow the players to play club cricket.
JULY: In July Zimbabwe had series against New Zealand which is postpond recently. There has to be a home series.Possibilities to play a tri series.Zimbabwe can play against India,South Africa and West Indies. All these 3 countries are free in July,August and September.
SEPTEMBER: Try to play agaisnt home/away series against India/South Africa/West Indies.
NOVEMBER: After finishing playing against Bangladesh, there is only one option for Zimbabwe to play against West Indies.
DECEMBER: All the teams are very busy at the end of the year.No option available for Zimbabwe.
Besides this Zimbabwe should play against associate sides likes of Ireland,Kenya,Canada,Namibia etc.

Re: Zim fixture list
Good to see that ZC will play a tri series involving India and the 3rd team yet to be selected in June/July.After that Zim will tour Sri Lanka.
So,the fixture is looking like:
2009
June/July India+3rd team (Home) -Tri Series
July Sri Lanka (Away) - 5 ODIs
August Bangladesh (Home) - 2 Tests, 3 ODIs
October Bangladesh (Away) - 3 Tests, 5 ODIs
