The question is who will tour India?

as the A side can play against Namibia from the 10-16 and then canada 18-24

well the only thing i can think of is the the training squad for the Namibia series contains 24 players and 14 are due to go to Namibia which leaves 10 players which i imagine along with a couple of others will tour india

it would be great to be able to push back the sri lanka tour but the sri lanka players will want a break before the ipl starts in april

Fair replies, zimfan1 and brmtaylor.com admin. But as Train Driver says, Mujuru and Nyamuzinga are conspicuous by their absence. One hope is that they will be part of the development squad sent to India, with the likes of Moor, Zhuwawo and others who would miss out on A team selection. They might be joined by Mabuza, Takarusenga, Kahiya and Co.

So its not that hard to come up with 3 teams of 14 or 15, but the support staff is a problem.

I dont aggree with sending a representitive side to India, it is obvious that against high class indian opposition a 3rd string zim side will get humiliated and hammerd in every game. I think its ZC have got to come up with another plan, its not been good planning to organise all these tours in the same space of time. I would rather send the A team to India and a representitive side for Namibia and Canada.

After a bit of searching this evening i've come up with a list of players that MAY be available to help make up 3 sides.

We have 14 of the Bangladesh/Kenya squad plus Chibhabha for the Sri Lanka squad

We have 19 players, 4 reserves and Waller named as the Namibia selection squad

That leaves, for me, the following players to select from. I appreciate that some of them may not be available at the moment and i apologise for naming them if they are not.

Mujuru, Nyamuzinga, Muzarabani, Tsvanhu, Tichana, Kasteni, Staddon, Siziba, Aliseni, Chinyoka, Hove, Mahwire, Matanga, Mire, Senzere, Mujaji, Musoso and Vitori with the outside possibility of Doug Hondo if he is fit enough to play again.

I find it rather strange that so many players that even i have heard of have not been mentioned in the Namibia squad, is that because they are not available any longer or is it that they have been set aside for India ?

This really is great fun, can ZC not get a few more fixtures so that a 4th squad can be made up ;)

It's the same case in Faithwear series too. It's a great surprise that Bonaparte Mujuru,Taurai Muzarabani,Bradley Staddon and Blessing Mahwire isnt named in any squads of Faithwear series.Even along with international bowler Edward Rainsford.

Information of tlse says that Blessing Mahwire is in Nottingham in England.
