Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe v Afghanistan 1st ODI
looks like we will be chasing 220+ at this rate. It will be a challenging score and give our batsmen a good workout. I hear that they Afghans have a good bowling attack
Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe v Afghanistan 1st ODI
You have to be critical on Utseya and his lack of wickets throughout the middle overs, the quicks did the damage early and had them on the ropes by even though Utseya kept things right the afghanis were able to rebuild and launch .....

Utseya has never really been a wicket taker. Maybe we missed a trick in giving a youngster or two a chance in this series, our average age is pretty high in this team

If he took 1/33 in every match, there'd never be any question about his spot. But 1/33 against Afghanistan is probably equivalent to about 0/55 against a full member team.
Cremer would have been good for about 4/40 in this match. I want him to come back

Too many overs for Williams ?? BRMT always seems to bowl him a few too many .....
Utseya finishes with a respectable 1-33 off 10 the wicket maiden in the last over makes his figures look better but I still feel we need more wickets from him .....
