This top 7 is really as good as we can manage. Except for those like Ballance and Ervine that might improve the class of the batting. You might change a player here or there - Waller in form ahead of Regis or Vusi. Raza fit. Whatever these guys can do here is pretty representative of our situation. Even with all of the off field drama.

I know this is a bit redundant, but man Steyn looks good. He is scary.

I guess Mawoyo is the obvious omission. Replace Chakabva/Mutumbami with Mawoyo and it's probably the best 7 batsmen in the country.Jemisi wrote:This top 7 is really as good as we can manage. This is a knowledgeable crowd, the applause after each run shows they are aware how hard they'll be to come by.
If we could be 1/50 at lunch that would be a win.
And yeah, Steyn is a great bowler. Scary to think Morkel is first change too...

the bowling is of great quality, such a step up from what they face at domestic level or against BangladeshJemisi wrote:I know this is a bit redundant, but man Steyn looks good. He is scary.

My fist look at Vermeulens technique. I know the bowling is the best in the business, but MV looks as if he just stabbing at the ball in the hope of somehow making contact.

@BRMT - yep Tino in - but all much of a muchness. 1-50 at lunch would be awesome.
