He was fielding leg slip to the spinner earlier i think

Still going down, i think we need to give our bowlers more credit here, to keep south africa down to the run rate they are scoring at currently is a great effort, particular baring in mind that they have not played test match cricket for a year

Agree there. With the pitch also plating it's part, do we have the Whittallesque desire and ability to guts it out for hours when we come out to bat again? Remember we have been on the field for a long time too. But very disciplined bowling effort so far for sure.

I think we can afford to try something outrageous just before tea. Taylor for an over or Hammy with some leg breaks?

I wonder if SA have shelved all ideas of declaring today? Of course they might still accelerate and put us in for a few overs, but I don't think they will have enough runs for the usual one hour after tea declaration.
