[Match Thread] 3rd Test: Zim vs Bang at Chittagong
Re: [Match Thread] 3rd Test: Zim vs Bang at Chittagong
How dumb are we? Who picked this side? Shingi should have come in for Chigs, not Chatara. Waller needed a spin bowling replacement if he was going to be dropped, not Richmond. Richmond in for his keeping is a good move, but Chari should have been dropped to make room for him.

We are going to need 600 to avoid defeat at this rate.

Batting was bolstered. The bowling had done well so far. This pitch is FLAT! Murali couldn't get wickets here if he paid for them. If Chats had played his figures would have taken a whooping. 3-140 as it stands...4-400 would not look good. He'd get even less assistance here than Dhaka or Khulna.Jemisi wrote:How dumb are we? Chari I thought had the technique. Not sure why people are saying he's out of his depth...is anyone in their depth? He didn't get beaten, had a good defense, just needs to work on his temperament. Did you expect the next Gavaskar?

Why haven't we seen the golden arm introduced yet?

Goodness me! Thats sounds bad. Will he be able to bat? His form could be crucial...SpitfiresKent wrote:I think he injured his hand fielding.

I don't think it was that bad, he didn't even leave the field for treatment, just stood near the boundary rope as the physio worked his magic. I think it was his left hand as well.CrimsonAvenger wrote:Goodness me! Thats sounds bad. Will he be able to bat? His form could be crucial...

Alright, not being able to follow the game could be excruciating, irrespective of how badly we are doing! Thanks for the updates

How ironic that the best commentator and defender of everything Zim is Bangladeshi. People so quick to slate everything and be pseudo coaches on hindsight, Eugene had a thread where were supposed to pick our teams, didn't see to many responses there hey?
The pitch is a road, Bangladesh regularly posts 440 agaist the best of teams here, it happens. If anybody can be blamed itsthe useless close in fielders who didn't bother appealing for an plumb lbw. and he biased umpires as always, against whoever is underdogs and therefore less likely to complain about bad decisions.
Let Zim bat and post less than 400, then we can talk about having played too many batsmen as a bad or hopeless call.
