Raza playing his shots as usual which i don't mind, he is going to be one of our key players at the world cup and in order to compete we will have the attack. He is fast becoming my favorite player as he is a fighter and will always take the game to the opposition.

I think the important lesson from this series is that we simply cant compete with Bangladesh away from home, we can beat that on our own tracks with our pace attack but our lack of spin options makes it nearly impossible to win in Bangladesh.

Its funny as if someone would of predicted that we wouldn't have a decent spinner 5 years ago i would of laughed, Zimbabwe has plenty of spinners in the domestic game but since Price has retired none have shown they have the quality to succeed at international level.

Yep, tons against NZ and SL. The NZ ones were incredible. His 181 was hit in the context of BD being 8-2 after NZ racked up 469. Mominul enters (he's been at #4 up till this series) and reaches his hundred from 98 balls. But there was no over hitting. He merely pounced on anything wide and hit boundaries on both sides of the wicket. His next 81 runs took 180 deliveries, illustrating his versatility. BD reached 501 and drew. In the next test, BD again was in a hole...55-2 in the 2nd innings but still trailing NZ first innings score by exactly 100 runs. Mominul and Tamim guided us to safety and by days end we were ahead 110+ with 7 wickets in hand. Momin was 126* and had a fever during the entire knock. He was taking antipyretics during drinks breaks. I rate that knock as BD's finest of all time. His SL knock was a 4th innings ton that forced yet another draw.

All his tons have been at home, 3 in Chittagong alone. But he averages over 50 in SL, hit a pair of fifties cut short by questionable caught behind decisions on both in the WI. Only failed in ZIM, but his low score there is 23, meaning he got set.

That's beginning to change gradually. Guys like Ashraful blamed everyone for his failures except himself. Whenever he was dismissed he would say 'that was a boundary ball, I just missed it'...to him every ball was a boundary ball and that is just not how cricket is played. By the way, Shakib has an incredibly high cricket IQ.

Aftab was another talent but was so lazy he admitted he doesn't mind being dropped from the squad since it means he won't have to train. Those 2 are the most gifted batsmen we've produced to date. But I'd much rather have a Mominul.

Shakib also hates training, but he's a fierce competitor and always brings his A game. Tamim works hard intermittently and his bipolar form shows that. Mushfiq is the hardest working cricketer we have and his batting average has gone up from the low teems to the early 30s and will rise towards 40 by the time he retires. Mominul has worked tirelessly from his teenage years to make up for his lack of talent compared to others and now has an average of 63+ after 12 tests. Taskin, has all the talent, and when asked says he wants to be a world class fast bowler.

Our teams attitude is moving in the right direction!

Totally agree. I love watching him bat, some of those shots were incredible considering the match situation. It shows that he has no fear.

Day 5 will be very intriguing.

1st part of the equation done, 90 odd overs left for tomorrow and if we bat well, it could even be 75. No doubt that the day 5 pitch is going to have a bit more but to lose 9 wickets on a batting track with no incentive to chase would be treacherous.

The 1 thing outside the draw that I would like is for Raza to convert, he's such a good player who just needs to work on his temperament.
