Scotland Analysis
Wardlaw is probably the quickets at early to mid 80mph
Sharif and Evans are around the 80mph mark
Taylor and Davey are late 70s
Berrington is no faster than mid 70s
No real pace at all in the Scotland squad.
That said they did just horse Ireland by 179 runs and beat Afghanistan in the competitive match before!
Maybe its not all about the pace......

Regarding Scotland, I wonder why they left Gavin Main back home. He is their quickest bowler and brightest prospect.

Gav Main is sharp and an excellent prospect.
Unfortunately he has been struggling with injuries and has barely played any cricket. Therefore it was deemed too big a risk to take him. He also attend university full time so probably couldnt get the time off.
Still he's one to look out for in future years

And Mitchell Marsh (so called "medium-pacer") picks 5 against England today...... It's not all about the pace

Re: WC 2015 Fast Bowlers Watch
37.5
Johnson to Taylor, no run, full on off stump, Taylor goes for a sweep and gets an inside edge onto his pads. Yikes, that's a scary shot to attempt against that kind of pace
37.4
Johnson to Taylor, no run, fuller and outside off, Taylor looks for the slog to deep midwicket and is beaten. 140-plus kph

They aren't broadcasting the speeds for every delivery (woulda been tedious to tabulate if they were so blessing in disguise). So I'm just going to take the fastest ball bowled in each match.
Also, I did check a few deliveries from the broadcast vs cricinfo's hawkeye...and the good news is that CI is reporting the same speed as the broadcasters.

According to radar, Chats was mostly around 130-135, although some balls looked quicker. Apart from that 145 ball don't think he crossed 138 the rest of the way. Avg speed of 79 mph.brmtaylor.com admin wrote:Chatara 144.5 is the one to beat so far.
I don't have all the data yet, but so far the 3 quickest are:
Starc - 93.6 mph
Johnson - 93.3
Milne - 92.7
Chatara - 89.8 (Boult, Southee, Anderson, Broad, Finn, Woakes, Wahab all around there as well).
