Prothom-Alo, a Bangladeshi newspaper, reported that Bangladeshi players did not have water for a whole day at the hotel they are staying in Bulawayo. They also reported that stuff were stolen from their luggage, besides not receiving their luggage on time.
Teams touring in past also complained about food shortage or poor quality of food in Bulawayo.
I am wondering if Bulawayo is fit to stay as an international venue.

These things happen everywhere. We shouldnot look to much into this. Zimbabwe is a fabulous fabulous place and ppl are very friendly. I hope they will forget all their minor complaints once they visit to Mosi oa tunya.

It is also reported that Javagal Srinath, a match refree of the series had to stand in the parking way for one hour because his driver wasn't in his car. The car was also rather poor in quality. There wasn't enough space for tall Srinath to sit comfortably, congested in one sense.

He he. If that's the case than it's the second instance. Tall west indian Cuffy faced similar scenario in tri-series.

Re: Poor Hospitality
Well, these are little things ZC must take better care of. Srinath is generally not the one who complains even in some of the most difficult circumstances - the fact that he toiled for most of his career by sending down over after over on lifeless Indian pitches without ever complaining is ample testimony to that
.
Hope ZC improves on this front as well, to lure more international cricket back to Zimbabwe.

...well, that's what a vague boarding school memory from 23 years ago tells me, anyway.

Memories man, i can remember that in boarding school. But hey, i am sure, if we offer them that they would probably enjoy it.maehara wrote:Hey! Sadza plus good nyama can be very tasty.Kopje wrote:If they are complaining about food, they should be fed Sadza

Add poor quality training pitches in the list.
