Zimbabwe surpassd 300 for the fifth time today and recorded their highest ever score against Bang- 323/7.
It looks that the head-to-head count too will become 20 wins each for both teams.

Thanks for the praises Robin but i really dont deserve so much. This forum has many intellect users and you will appreciate their dearth of knowledge once you interact.

We are already running 2 quizzes-the hugly popular Zim Photo cricket quiz and the other Zim Ckt quiz.

I has a knack of stat compiling earlier. Infact i used to maintain 2 big registers-one for test and other for ODIs-in my school days where i tend to write all the details. That time i had on my fingertips all the runs, wkts, economy, highest, lowest of Zimbabwe and Zim players. Once i went into Medical college it was difficult to update but still i love the stats.

Infact i also featured in ESPN and StarSports as the craziest cricket fan. See the link-

http://www.thehindu.com/mp/2002/10/21/s ... 560401.htm

I saw your posts in Planet Ckt and the one about top 10 commentators was indepth, exclusive and fabulous. To see other posts one has to create account from which i deferrred for the time being.

Its Super Sunday after all.....the 4th crucial ODI :D

Hey, I remember watching that, and at that time, wondered how could some "other Indian" be more fanatic about Zim team than me :). If you ask me now, I would gladly give it to you. But I remember them referring to someone as "Zimbabwean Kapoor". Was that you, or someone else?
Physically challenged, Phalswal wants to do his MS in Orthopaedics so that he can become the physiotherapist of the Zimbabwe team!
And how's this aspiration coming along? ;)

Absolutely Venkat, i am that Zimbabwean Kapoor coz of my two passions- Zim and Anil kapoor(Slumdog famed). You didnt vote for me tht time so i missed the award. My name wrongly spelled in that article(its Satendra).
I also featured in Hindustan Times along with Dravid-fanatic Tanvi of delhi. M so happy u saw it. It was again televised on India's next tour of Zim where it was termed- a doctor's predicament.

Well i had completed my MBBS by the time they took that interview and i was preparing for MD/MS so the easiest why i could have linked with Zim ckt was as their Sports medicine expert but Matachiko is doing great job as physio since ages.

So, my dear friend this 'Zimbabwean Kapoor' is life- long obsessed for ZC and Anil Kapoor.

For few things in life there is no logic, you just love them. :)

Ah, that settles it Dr. Situ! I always had this feeling that your fanaticism and record-keeping resembles that of "Zimbabwean Kapoor", but stopped short of asking you about it.

How about trying again? let us speak to Ali Campbell. You can be the physiotherapist and I will be the technology analyst :)

Unfortunately, I don't share the Anil Kapoor part :D

I love numbers, stats and still cherish those voluminous registers i made while everybody else was sleeping. Then came Sportstar and Cricket samrat. I kept on collecting SS since '92 (Inaugral test edition where Houghton was on cover) and that may be the reason why i spotted your photo quiz so early. One of my senior in medical college then told me about ZCU.cricket .org and i started writing in Zim Ckt Online(ZCO) which was great fun and i miss a lot John Ward's e-mails.
Dave-Ellman Brown send me a personalised reply when Streak's warriors toppled NZ in NZ. I also have Olonga's mail and he is a perfect gentleman.

My greatest day when i saw Andy Flower rushing to his hotel room with laptop before 4th ODI at Kanpur. i chatted with Carl Rackmann-the then coach, and Sanjay Manjerekar was shocked that i didnot asked him for autograph in the lift. I clicked Streaky also.

The next day was forgettable as India hammered Zim by 10 wkts and i was the first person to l vacate the stadium as it was unbearable to watch the red cherry flying out of the ground. But i did helped media ppl there as Madodno opened for Zim and they have no clue who he is. I told them his name.

Being a specialist doc, we consider physiotherapy inferior but you can surely be the tech analyst. For a long time Malcolm Jarvis was unnecessarily forced into this job.

Oh yes, I remember that ill tempered match where Ganguly over appealed and Whittall and Bryan Strang taught him a lesson...

Otherwise, you have had your memorable moments with Zim team for sure. :)
