Congratulations to Charles Coventry

Post by shafin »

You deserve the record. Congratulations for your scintillating knock.
Making 194 against any opposition on any pitch is never a small task. It needs massive amount of concentration.

From a Bangladeshi Fan
BTW, you can check out this pakistani thread, they jinxed coventry to 194 :D
on another note, I think your captain just lacks heart, he should have taken 1 in the 4th ball.

Innings of life time by a humble hard-working cricketer. This knock was long due and i am so happy for him as well as whole of the Zimbabwe. We are right there on the top now. Time to celebrate the innings which will surely change the way cricket is being played in Byo.

He certainly deserves an appreciation thread of his own. Can't help but remember another "out of the world knock" of his...

Good you posted this 320 inning picture. After all he is the FIRST Zimbabwean to score triple century in any format of the game.

Thats a really good one man and I didnt know aboput the 320 you go boy!! Sometimes people seem to underplay a 100 against say Bangladesh but 100 runs is 100 runs and it only takes ONE ball to get you out so thats a massive feat by Coventry. But i feel for him since Zim didnt win the match and lost the series too!
