Sauramba picked to open today, something he's done for Mountaineers a few times with limited success. He's batting with PJ now and while they are both in the set-up as potential limited overs 'slogging keepers' if you will, they also have very similar stats (not very good one's, av. 18-20) .

Dear dear, 43-3 in 12th with Moor and Masvaure back in the changing room, I lobby for you Mr Masvaure and you get a 4 ball duck
cricinfo on to a good idea, they've gone back to no wickets down ......... about the only way to avoid another hammering

Mpofu fails in his quest for a maiden century...
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

Just one more nail to go into the coffin of another massive defeat, unless Mamhiyo and Mufudza can knock up 140 in 12 overs ....
I wonder whether 4 days will actually be needed for the First Class matches, even if Masakadza and Sibanda do actually play

Only two batsmen to have been decent-ish throughout have been Burl and Mamhiyo...others have been decent-ish for one of the matches....not good enough.

Pretty dispiriting series this. To have been defeated so comprehensively is a real worry, and speaks volumes of the available talent in the country. It also shows why the selectors keep going back to many of the same old faces... Simply, there is minimal alternative.
Hopefully the FC games will be better!!

That 43 at the top of the order is now mapped to Kasuza instead of Sauramba. Anyway, a miserable series considering we are playing at home...

Interesting to look at the career averages for Kasuza and Moor at both First Class and List A levels, you have to ask why Moor keeps getting the opportunities while Kasuza isn't even in the squad for the 4 day matches against Bangladesh

Where the hell is musoko, he been doing well with the A side. surely either keep him there or promote him to the national squad not keep him off the radar altogether.
