Hope so too. Having said that, it wasn't looking like a very friendly cuddly atmosphere between the two of them...Dr_Situ(ZimFanatic) wrote:It was bit of surprise, albeit nice, to see Streaky chatting with Chingoka. I hope these are the signs of good things to come.
Yes, with his experience of playing at Byo and playing against BDesh, they must have realized that Streaky was talking sense.maehara wrote:Dr_Situ(ZimFanatic) wrote:May be Streak's presence was a testimony to his earlier declaration that ZIM should rely on pace rather than spin at Byo.
How prophetic was that. I doubted him at the time, but he was proved to be 100% spot on, wasn't he?
...and yet even once that was clear, we still concentrated on spin. Go figure.

Well, that's true. So let's hope that all these sensible people get back into the setup at the earliest to accelerate the development.Dr_Situ(ZimFanatic) wrote:He always talks sense yaar.
We are all surprisingly upbeat today, even after witnessing another ZimbabweCollapse TM.

We have done so well after the collapse. The batting of Taylor, Price, the enthusiasm of childish-Price, Covy's stumping and the mt went till 48th over...and last but not least Streak's presence was enough to keep upbeat.CrimsonAvenger wrote:Well, that's true. Indeed. There's an awful lot went wrong with this series that the team & management are going to have to sit down and sort out before they play again (three weeks to the WI series? Maybe not long enough..), but there are also quite a few positives as well. Some really good individual performances - just not backed up by the teamwork...

Cheers my friend and the same to you
It was just great to be able to watch a whole series involving Zimbabwe, not the result we wanted but there are many more series to come in which we can get stuck into, keep the faith.

Something we missed during the 5th ODI: Ray Price not only got his highest ODI score, but also reached 50 ODI wickets. He now has 51 wickets from 57 games.
Pricey is up to 21st in ICC ODI rankings, and Coventry has broken into top 100 among ODI batsmen after the epic knock. He has jumped from 186th to 83rd.
