As for the rest, Waller truly is a good guy. BT seemed nice. I don't know Cremer. Welch was an ok guy. Byrom was nice until having come back from UK quite full of himself. Really can't stand Lock.

These young guys who are talked up so much then go to England will more than likely come back to Zimbabwe with big heads. We've been talking about Welch and Byrom since they were like 14 or 15 imagine they read this stuff they would think they're the next Andy Flower the way they've been portrayed .....

I don't really care if they good blokes or not as long as they play well and don't do anything to out of order .....

303 all out in the 1st innings. Decent outings from the incumbents:

PJ Moor run out (Abu Jayed) 62 145 84 7 2 73.80
RP Burl c Muktar Ali b Mohammad Shahid 42 114 68 6 0 61.76
GAT Mamhiyo* lbw b Abu Jayed 28 48 37 5 0 75.67
J Gumbie† c Mosaddek Hossain b Muktar Ali 70
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

Nothing much to get excited about today, Bangladesh finished on 274-4 just 29 behind, Tiripano 3-74, Burl 1-39

Agree with you. I certainly appreciate this kind of insight which we rarely great. If its okay to say so and so is genuinely nice humble guy then the opposite should apply.

I did not like Ponting at all but his attitude translated to the feild. KP was arrogant and since it he played for ENG he was a breathe of fresh air from the largely PC poms.

So if thats Burl then I couldnt careless too long as he brings results. End of the day i dont gave to go home with any of these cats.

They were then trying to think of other players called Taylor and none of those guys could come up with BT. I thought that was harsh. You fellows having a dip at Burl, Lock, Waller etc are really out of line. Are there any white guys you do like? I think Burl, Lock,Waller and Ballance might be related? Cricket is definitely in the genes. There's no doubting RB's cricketing ability, he's very talented, he's also a fantastic squash player.
There's no excuse for arrogance. Tendulkar is a prime example of how to be.
haha i saw that,
it just goes to show how much of an irrelevant bleep on the cricketing radar Zim is nowadays.

I bet 15 years ago they would know them.

Wasn't Tendulkar a bastard behind the scenes though? I remember reading somewhere that he was quite politically astute and knew how to maintain his power and popularity.

This reminds me of the following words by AB on the eve of the current 2nd Test against India:
I think my record shows I never get myself up when there is nothing on the line. There has always got to be something on the line. I think in the beginning - no offence against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, they are much better teams now, but back in the day I could never get myself going against those teams. Because I never felt that challenge. We were always going to win those games. I never felt that I needed to have an impact in order for us to win a game. Those are the kind of things I am talking about.
