Aparantly the national team players have not been paid for the Bangladesh series and are refusing to play in the logan cup untill they have been paid, i stress this is just a rumor but if its true that ZC are putting players futures on the line and they need to sort it out quick

I hope this rumour isn't true. It would explain why the domestic season has been delayed by three weeks however.

Good heavens, what is ZC doing, they shud remeber that some of these players have families to feed. This is embarassing, with all the money we get as a full member, it shouldn't be happening.

I also hope that this is just a rumour but if it's true, it should be immediately sorted out. Payment problem was a big reason of the player exodus in the past. Infact Blignaut quit also for the same reason, as he was unpaid. If I can recall correctly, some of the former players were also owed money to ZC featuring players like Streak, Ebrahim etc.

With lots of positive things happening in Zimbabwean cricket nowadays, the authority can't let it go down for the unpayment reason.
