I think with the recent results at senior, U19 and A-team level, it seems to be fair to say that Afghanistan have moved ahead of Zim as a cricketing nation. With a stronger first team, more depth and more talent coming through.
Firstly, their rise has been truly impressive and inspirational to all other developing nations. However, this is worrying for Zim...

Re: Afghanistan
Lost so much interest in our cricket side. I think the peak of my excitement was the 2010/11 season when there were some options to choose from at FC Level, as well as the fact that guys like Streak and Grant Flower were in the mixer.
The FC circuit just looked more colorful than it is now, plus my favorite players were playing.
I only really visit this forum to keep up to speed with you guys and have my say. I don't get the kick I used to get out of watching the lads in red anymore; a test match maybe yes, but not at the present state. Too many Lesbian shots right DOG.
Always touring Asia which pisses me off; teams like New Zealand who tour, or Ireland in fact, should provide an away tour for us. Guys like Moor will be sick of playing on turning, spitting, slow Asian wickets.
When Taylor left after that whirlwind against India, the passion I had for the side died a little bit.
