I was in Bulawayo this weekend and watched the first game between Roosters and Queens , Roosters won comfortably . Got to see Bobby play in the second game of the day at queens showed his class with 3 wickets in his first two overs cracked a helmet in the process .

The franchise guys stared Mainly Mujiru and Cunnignham . The standard is however not what we have in Harare some shocking shot selections and fielding howlers did not show me why the Tuskers were a cut above the rest during their juggernaut years in the Logan Cup

Bulawayo has suffered the most from this rot caused by ZanuPF. So if any province are struggling now, Blues is virtually bankrupt. Most factories closed and exodus down south began way before everybody else. Look ta the state that Highlanders, who won the football league for four consecutive years between 1999-2004 is in now.
This puts in context Gargamel's assertion at how far the deterioration has taken hold in Bulawayo's Tuskers since three years ago when Zim's economy was preforming relatively well.

In my opinion the local Franchises are not plugged into local communities and businesses that could lend some assistance to the franchises. I look at the mountaineers o seriously feel that should have been sponsored by either a timber of Diamond company to some extent not a lot but 50K a year would make a huge difference each franchise if they really were plugged in even if it wasnt cash but in payment directly for services such as transport and water

We're missing the white farmers more and more (and some companies too), who had a culture of giving back some of the monies they made into communities and sport.gargamel wrote:In my opinion the local Franchises are not plugged into local communities and businesses that could lend some assistance to the franchises.
