There should be a u23 team.

Timoni has no idea what he is doing at all. A complete clown

And no, the last u19 team of 2013/14 would have given the current one a true hiding.

Who was overage? Malcolm Lake was turning 20. Jeremy Ives is turning 20.

The truth was the previous u19 team was far more talented just didnt perform at the World Cup.

Both sides came 10th however.

Five of them were over age and fielded with the full knowledge of Singo and Chwaguta for their personal gain. It should have been a source of acute disgrace and embarrassment upon us, only that many are immune to those emotions. The offenders and the coach and management were exposed as cheats. Everyone is up in arms about the Mankad and fair play, but this is far worse and went unpunished and largely unnoticed. The fact that those two are still doing the same job is proof of what our administration is all about. Yes that team was stronger on paper, but cricket is not played on paper. The current team played as a team and consequently are better. Also they are the right age so that does make it difficult to make a real comparison. Talent is only a part of the puzzle. You need application and a set of gonads, something that the previous team were sorely lacking.

The only media that called-out ZC on the overage debacle was surprisingly the Herald.

Not a good start for the Rhinos. :? Nyathi & Musakanda will need to save them.

Horrible spineless performance from the Rhinos. I guess Timoni's selections were correct...
