So many passengers
Re: [Match Thread] Logan Cup - Mountaineers v Tuskers
Why are the young players not getting picked? Are these domestic journeymen who get selected actually superior players?
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

I don't mind the guys with records behind them, but the blokes with 30 or 45 games and an average of 20 or less should make way

I wonder if Ngarava or Mashinge would have removed Ervine by now? We will never know.
I think Musoko would have.

I feel Ervine has been unlucky with the timing of his illness. Not only that it hit him when he was in great form, he also had to fire immediately on his comeback in the T20 competition, admittedly not his strongest format. We will never know how he would have fared had he been given the luxury of a FC match to get back in the groove first.jaybro wrote:Jemisi wrote:Ervine bags a ton

200 up for Ervine and Dabengwa still going strong...
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

BD players do all the time. Then again most of our boys are high school drop outs.TapsC wrote:I am all for the kids getting a chance but aren't half of them still in school? how do u expect a high school kid to miss 4 days of school?
