Ntini says his boys to learn from west indies!!!!!!!

Post by zimfan@india »

" huge congrats to west indies team" Ntini added on interview to Indian newspaper THE HINDU
As the interviewer questions a lot and Ntini replied very calm and energetic as usual

What did your boys miss at world cup tournament?

The boys are really talented they lack big match exposure ......because non of players play in big leagues such as CPL,IPL and BBL....thats a huge drawback

Any of your players are capable of doing that?

As I watched some guys play my favorites are Madizva,Jongwe and Gremer would make in 2017 or 2018 IPLs they are capable of but they need to work hard sad they all missed the T20 world cup I as a coach I except a lot from them even RAZA and HAMMY can also do that.......

You played for CSK under Dhoni and Fleming how was that?

Yes that were my golden days I will convert that Exposure as a coach to these guys...

As a Bowler which Bowler you like in your current team?

Chatara for sure he has a different action .....but has great accuracy than me.....(Laugs) Ntini....

Zimbabwe U19 team done well in recent junior world cup you see as a good sign for future?

Yes for sure its really good to see juniors perform well the one i see from them team spirit that the senior team lacks i think we are working on that Dev is doing his best...

There is compain against zimbabwe cricket board for not retaining players?

See you cannot really complain the zimbabwe board, zimbabwe is the team which played more matches after 2015 worldcup than west indies, srilanka, pakistan, bangladesh, india, etc they develop why we cannot; zimbabwe played their world cup first since 30 years back and have great history players have to think of it if board is not funtioning well you cannot stay in the sport for these long time in internatonal scence as a full member.....You have to learn from west indies as the team which also has board problems but won the world cup we have to learn alot from them....

You next target ?

we are going to intergrate the young players who are performing well in to the national team, under performes will be out ...no mercy attitude ...this is compatative sport ....and look on player retaining and support our players by helping them financialy to get t20 Contracts in IPL,CPL,BBl,PSL etc but players have to prove their worth internationally..

I don't think it's copy & pasted from the web, so I guess zimfan@india typed it in (thanks for sharing, btw :) ), hence the typos and spelling ... something even the Dogg falls prey to occasionally, especially when using his mobile devices after a hard night on the town. I don't know what it is, but every second time I type "the" it comes out als "teh" ... it must be something wrong in my language/typing configuration. But then I generally produce more typos in English than in my mother tongue.

I know Indians can really butcher the English language time to time and most miss the nuances of the queens language but generally, Indian journalists get it right, so the Hindu should've done better.

And yes, I am guilty of a few messes myself late at night and on the piss.
I miss more auto correct oversights than Chamu Chibhaba misses balls spinning into him.
