Signed for Brothers Union after they failed to rope in Hashim Amla. The Dhaka Premier Division is the premier List A tournament in Bangladesh and right up there with the BPL in terms of importance. More important IMO since 50 overs is more prestigous than 20. Excellent pickup for the club.

In the 1990s, legends like Wasim, Jayasuriya played in the Dhaka league.

Hamilton Masakadza played today. Top scoring with 41, as his team got thoroughly smashed.

This is a long tournament, probably around 15 games. This should be excellent for Hami and Williams in the off-season. Plenty of subcontinent match practice, and a decent boost to the wallet.

12 teams round robin in the first round, so it is a very long tournament. Decent start from Hammy.

I remember Willy once took a 7 wicket haul, which is probably the bezt figures in DPL history. Only issue was 5 of his victims were Zimbabwe players contracted for the other side!
