zim cricket is dead

Post by Mueddie28 »

Its time to let ireland or Afghan to take the test status & let zim play only concentrate on one dayers & T20s..

While we have chakabva , Craig ; masakadza & chisoro asuited for test matches our board keep cancelling the test matches..

Players like Raza; Craig Ervine; Sean W & Cremer have being loyal to Zimbabwe but we still see a board with agendas..
Cricket fans blame Ballence; kyle Jarvis; talyor etc but iys time to look deep & critic yjis ZC chairman & board..
I cry for my beloved cricket Zimbabwe

We are not in charge of giving test status to Ireland or the Afghans.

They can both gain it in the same way.

Zimbabwe cricket is not dead its alive and kicking
Zimbabwe test status does not have anything to do with Ireland or Afghan
They should earn they test status the same way everyone else did

people act like Ireland or Afghanistan would be able to beat Australia in a test if they were given test status today..its a long process which they must earn. beating us doesn't mean u will beat the other 9 full members in a test. we will play our test matches this year.we just need to be patient. we have 7 potential test matches on the way..only 1 has been cancelled so far clearly because they are trying to maximize TV rights.

The problem seems to crop up time and time again. We are scheduled to play tests, and then it gets downgraded to ODI and T20's. You say we are due 7 Tests this year: If so, brilliant, and I could even forgive ZC for cancelling what would have been a really interesting, if tough, test V India.

Reading your attached article it looks as though Tests v New Zealand will happen, but how many and when against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. It seems to me as if ZC look for any excuse to downgrade a tour and scrap the Tests.

If you look at the FTP it bears little resemblance to what we actually play. I love watching Zim play tests so I really hope I 'm proved wrong.

Zim cricket has been dead since the likes of Pierre Rinke, Greg Strydom, and Anthony Ireland were driven off. We have fallen a long way since the glory days of 2006. These current losers are more interested in filling their faces and pockets than winning.
