Zimbos in the UK and Europe for 2016 season
Re: Zimbos in the UK and Europe for 2016 season
Sloandog do you know if he is gonna be at Eagles this summer? After watching Muzarabani play today, I dont think Diplock could be a worse option.

As much as guys are failing at international level bear in mind that performance at Club cricket don't make up a case for national team call up. Muzarabani retained figures of 0/18(6) in the 1st ODI and 0/13(3) which are not bad at all in international cricket considering he is bowling in the powerplay and going at 4 an over is a job well done you create pressure. If people can play make a case for a national team call up through perfomance at club cricket level then im also going to raise my hand up to be considered.. Get first class stats then we start talking. In UK anyone can score runs and take wickets, as well as fail again.

Diplock does have First Class status. Was given 2 games, went for next to nothing and then got dropped for the more favoured old dogs thanks to the dimwitted Coach Timoni. So your arguement is questionable as the boy has played at professional level.jontym87 wrote:Flakeman wrote:Sloandog do you know if he is gonna be at Eagles this summer? Muzarabani is complete garbage, I dont care what anyone says.
Re: Zimbos in the UK and Europe for 2016 season
Im not saying Diplock is anywhere near ready for international stuff. But he is a far better player than Muzarabani. Of that I am sure.

The real truth is that Muzarabani, Jongwe have been pushed and have failed to take their chances. I seriously think Diplock has been predjudiced and i seriously think he would be an asset to any province and the National team. If there was some coach or selector who would push him he would have the games and i strongly feel the stats. We have a problem that Chigs is supposed to be the allrounder in our team but continues to fail with both bat and ball. The alternative is Jongwe who is a misguided little boy who has been pushed and is not dealing with the pressure of being a kid . That boy in my honest opinion will either drink himself to the ground , or will die of AIDS if not guided properly. The next pure allrounders who bowl quick are Diplock or Mafusire two guys who are being brought down by the system.
Playing week in and out in an organised English set up in a competetive county can only add to Dipaz experinec and knowlegde eve more so with an english world cup

Well, Diplock isnt ready I dont think but neither are the clowns in the team at the moment so what do you do? Also as iv said before, whats keeping him from shrugging off cricket in Zim as its not really a viable career. Sloandog claims to know him, so he might know more about what he thinks.gargamel wrote:The real truth is that Muzarabani, Jongwe have been pushed and have failed to take their chances. Talent Munyoro really needs to wake up. He could be a world class bowler ! Mark my words. All the talent, super fit, swings it both ways at very decent pace. But lacks mental strength. Best seamer in the country probably after Chatara, well... pre injured Chatara.

Re: Zimbos in the UK and Europe for 2016 season
There is no harm in pushing Diplock we can wait how long till he is ready iv seen him play and well that boy has the tools. Mentally he needs to get over sulking episodes but i tell you that head to head Jongwe and Chigz and Neville would sweat as they really know he ahs the skills.
Munyoro has been bitten by ZC once to often and he is more content with his steady job than ZC peanuts. He started the season on fire and tapered off but i agree one of the best seamers outside th FC structures. I rate the followng. I still rank Cullum Price , Zhawi and Mafusire ahead of Munyoro based on his half baked commitment.

True he has a half baked mentality, but he is alot more talented than Zhawi and Mafusire as a bowler. Im not just saying that as an OH supporter. Tino truly gets a short end of the stick at Eagles. Its disgusting actually. But Timoni is coach so what do you expect.
